FABRIC
French « Mi-Laine » Twill (50% wool 50% cotton) cinched leg trousers, featuring a subtle light pin stripe. This fabric is woven for the brand in France, using late 19th century industrial looms, reproducing the historic feel and durability known to be characteristic of French vintage workwear garments.
FIT AND CONSTRUCTION
High-rise wide leg trousers featuring an anatomical 3 piece leg construction, allowing the fabric to bend at the knee thanks to its curved spiral seam. Ankle fastening offers the choice to switch from a cinched leg to relaxed wide leg silhouette. Selvedge bottom hem without side seam for a clean finish. Signature slanted back patch pockets and clean front pocket design. The trousers are made with a tailored construction, fully cotton taped inside construction, allowing for fit and size adjustments.
TREATMENT
Artisanal dark hand dyed « Mi-Laine » fabric, requiring time and expertise, allowing for this beautiful textured finish, using heat resulting in a slightly felted fabric.
FINISHING
Excella zipper fly front, inside dark natural horn button, handsewn silk buttonhole and hidden snap button on the flyfront. Ankle fastening using the same handsewn silk buttonhole and natural horn buttons.
