Reinterpretation of the original Handkerchief’s Paisley print, using a hand-rolled twill silk square measuring 90cm x 90cm.
The two-tone print is created using a handsewn shibori technique, first naturally dying the scarf in madder roots to get the red motif, then overdyed in black.
This natural dye work, made by hand, requires up to 5 hours of meticulous work.
Each piece is one-of-a-kind.
