FABRIC

French organic cotton and linen twill tapered trousers. This fabric is woven for the brand in France, using late 19th century industrial looms, reproducing the historic feel and durability known to be characteristic of French vintage workwear garments.

 

FIT AND CONSTRUCTION

Mid-rise tapered leg trousers featuring a high hem, allowing for clean cuff finish and desired length. Inseam construction with integrated pockets in the back yoke, signature slanted pocket welts. The trousers are made with a tailored construction, fully cotton taped inside construction, allowing for fit and size adjustments.

 

TREATMENT

Garment dyed using natural Cachou (Acacia tree bark), oxidized with iron. This hand dye process takes up to 6 hours and creates this unique color and patina. Cachou is one of the historic natural dyes used on linen French workwear garments.

 

FINISHING

Excella zipper fly front, inside burnt natural horn button, handsewn silver silk buttonhole.
